Hello, so I thought I'd update this journal before Thanksgiving and the mad rush of Finals Week. It's hard to believe that finals week is almost upon us!! Kind of insane actually... I have registered for classes for next semester and I'm taking Screenwriting/Playwriting, English Syntax, Technical Writing, Novels since 9/11, and I'll be working on the school's creative writing publication aka the Satori. I'm really kinda excited about screenwriting because it's one of the career options I'm considering and it'll give me an idea of if I'll be able to do it. Syntax and Technical writing are both required for my major and they just happen to be back to back and I am REALLY not looking forward to them... but hey, at least they're only twice a week.

So I went to see New Moon today and I have to say that it wasn't that bad. The only thing was that there was a LOT of Fan Service with all the shirtlessness. Which really was already in the book to begin with so yeah.... WTH Stephenie Meyer?? I LOVED <3 Aro and the whole Volturi scene, it was pretty amazing. They really captured Aro's love for the unique talents of the vampire world.

Enough with the Twilight addiction though, so I was thinking about all the things that make me a nerd and it was kinda a long list... not as bad as some, but hey.
1. I LOVE Dr. Who (crushing on David Tennant)
2. I've read the Harry Potter series at least 5 times
3. I've read the Lord of the Rings series 3 times
4. I've seen all of the Star Wars movies at least 3 times each not to mention the couple of times where I've sat down and watched them all in chronological order.
5. I <3 Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek the Next Generation.
6. I'm only a little addicted to the Labyrinth (oh Jareth...)
7. I have watched the ENTIRE series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and an entire season of Dr. Who and an entire season of Bones all during this semester at school.
8. I own at least two of each Harry Potter book and two of each of the Twilight series (this is so both me and my sister could read them at the same time because there was no way we were sharing them on the night they came out).
9. Back to the Future parts I II & III are all at the top of my favorite movies list.
10. There has been at least 3 occasions where I've watched all 3 Lord of the Rings movies in one sitting (minus bathroom breaks and making of food)
11. I spend at least 4 hours a day on the internet... and half of that is dedicated to Facebook.

God I'm a sad person...
